Veteran Dog  2 (0)

1st  Waterhouse's -  Ch/Am Ch Chtaura Dream Machine

This boy is in excellent condition, no way would you know by looking that he is 10 years old!

Liked his size & balanced outline which he held whilst standing & on the move & he certainly can move an  effortless & free mover.  Straight front, strong rear, so well put together, sound.

2nd Scott's – Wolfverlow Merlot

Arguably more my type (if I have a type) & I really liked him. At 7 ½ years old was a mere baby in this class. Loved his head & expression. Another sound, balanced dog, strong neck high set tail.

Unfortunately didn't get his act together on the move, typical Apso!

Puppy Dog 4 (0 ab)

1st  Waterhouse's -  Chtaura Bend me Shape me

At 9 months old this young man, has a lot more changes ahead, but so far is showing great promise.

Attractive head, good neck & well laid back shoulders, high set tail, straight front & his gold coat is developing the correct hard texture. Really showed  himself off on the move just had to give him the BPD & later BPIS.

2nd Thomas's - Zanamop Mr Cool Chip at Heidiflic

Lovely  9 month old puppy, gold & white puppy. Mature in body & coat which was groomed to perfection. Lacking a little in pigment (winter nose?) but otherwise lovely puppy, good mouth gorgeous head, balanced in outline, tough choice for me between 1st & 2nd place.

3rd Waghorne's – Sukisha Diamond Dust

Junior Dog  2 (0 ab)

1st Lewis's -  Deelayne Dizee Rascal

If ever a name suited a dog!... a very nice rascal though, lovely temperament, full of attitude, definitely gay & assertive.

Fabulous red dog, bigger than I normally go for but sound as a pound, balanced, mature in body with a straight front & strong rear which enabled him to move true. Loved his head & expression. Good mouth , excellent black pigment.  This young man stood out in the final dog line-up and demanded the BD award which I was happy to give him.

2nd  Richardson's -  Belazieth Hello I'm so Lucky

Very attractive dog, cream with black overlay, shapely outline with long arched neck & high set tail.  Not as “bodied up” as 1 but time will sort that out, not a problem.  Another who, unfortunately, would not settle on the move & gave his handler a bit of a hard time.

Yearling Dog 3 (0 ab)

1st  Paradise's -  Shardlow Two Smokin Barrels

A 17 month old, in excellent coat, who still has some maturing to do body wise, that said, I thought he stood out in this class.  Liked his overall shape, lovely long neck & hight set tail, good on the move.  Interestingly, I noticed later he is out of my reserve best bitch.

2nd      Langford's – Hazegaye Worth the Wait at Quaytown

Very sound gold boy ,who also gave a good account of himself on the move, different in type to 1 so difficult decision as both quality dogs.

3rd Richardson's -  Belazieth I'm so Lucky

Novice Dog 2 (0 ab)

1st  Yaxley's  - Dardenalles Wild Basil

A lot to like about this two year old grey & white boy. I liked his balance, he has a lovely head with a “kind” expression. Good straight/true movement. just needs to “finish” in coat as it is at that in-between stage at the moment.

2nd  Quelch's – Ardquin Atlantica

A very nice 9 month old puppy with a lovely black coat. This young man is very confident on the move really strutted his stuff. Unfortunate to be up against the older dog in this class.

Graduate Dog 1 (0 ab)

1st Richardson's Hello I'm so Lucky

Post Graduate 4 (1ab)

1st  Ogden's -  Absosengkye Donny

Gorgeous, gold & white dog.  I just loved this dog, he has a beautiful head, spot on balance & is in wonderful coat & condition, not a lot wrong with this one. Good on the move,  sailed around the ring, highly considered in the challenge.

2nd Deacon's – Shardlow Air Trafic Control over Andolyn

Smaller framed dog ,a “pretty boy”, nice size, good construction,  which showed in his movement.  He now needs to “finish” in coat to complete the picture.

3rd Waterhouse's Chtaura Rebel Rock

Limit Dog  6 (0 ab)

1st Cain's -  Kutani Secret Agent

This one should not be kept a secret! He is absolutely lovely, size, shape, construction & temperament all excellent,  loved his beautiful soft expression in fact there wasn't much I didn't like. Showed his socks off & went home with RBD.

2nd Scott's – Shardlow Ruby Walsh with Wolferlow

Another lovely dog, unfortunate to be in the same class as 1. Good body on this boy, different balance to 1 but similar attributes. Presented to perfection. Steady, fluid mover.

3rd Wiseman's - Newcliffe  Mirror Image avec Skaldan

Open Dog  5 (0 ab)

1st Jones's - Ch Tarendes Follow the Bear

This handsome & very sound dog headed this excellent class. Not a small dog but I was impressed by his overall  construction & mature body, reckon he could survive in Tibet.  He has good head , expression & mouth, balanced outline covered with an excellent coat . Moves as you would expect a dog with good construction to move. Considered in challenge.

2nd  Lewis's -  Ch Deelayne Zaar too Busy

Very stylish dog, well put together, liked his size, excellent head, expression & mouth.  Good quality, correct texture coat, exceptionally well presented. Free flowing movement around the ring.

Only just 6 months old, but she did her owner proud, full of confidence both on the table & on the move.  Raw puppy with potential, good construction, balance & coat.

Puppy Bitch 11 (0 ab)

1st       Roach's -  Anjesics Dream Maker

What a  lovely puppy, caught my eye when she entered the ring, closer inspection confirmed my initial thoughts, good overall shape & balance, beautiful head with dark pigment & excellent well presented coat.  Moved well for her handler  & deserved BPB & BOSPIS

2nd   Langford's – Jamikasoka Hear Say at Quaytown

Another one that is hard to ignore, a well made puppy, good head , mouth & pigment,  moved well. I really was splitting hairs between 1st & 2nd in this class.

3rd Moorby's – Zanamop Facy Free at Swandown

Junior Bitch 2 (1ab)

1st  Watts-Catley's – Zanamop Chip Chick

Liked this young lady a lot, excellent neck & shoulder placement, lovely head & good mouth. She hasn't quite got her act together yet and played up a bit on the move but I could still see that she kept her shape & could move out when she wanted to.

Yearling Bitch  1 (0 ab)

1st    Richardson's – Belazieth Hello Smartie

I also liked this young lady a lot, liked her balance, high set tail & good strong coat texture .Everything in its right place, nice straight front which gave her free, unexaggerated  movement. Very nice Apso.

Novice Bitch 6 (0 ab)

1st  Waterhouse's – Chtaura Honey Come Back

This little one is a little cracker, only 9months old but a real show off in the ring. Well  constructed good neck & shoulder placement & presented in good coat & condition.

2nd  Yaxley's – Dardanelles Spring Beauty

Very pretty head, liked her size and shape, moves well.  Needs to mature in body & ” finish” in coat to complete the picture.

3rd  Young's - Avonbourne Willow the Wisp

Graduate Bitch 3 (0 ab)

1st   Scarll's – Timazinti's Hope and Dreams

This is a gorgeous young bitch, good to go over, balance & construction excellent. I did manage to see her movement even though she was spooked by something & decided not to put her tail up.  She got her act together in the bitch challenge & was seriously considered.

2nd  Ogden's – Absosengkye Princess

Different in balance to 1 but still very nice young bitch, pretty & feminine, good pigment, well presented & handled good on the move.

3rd   Carter's – Vowchurch Maid of Magic

Post Graduate Bitch 3 (1 ab)

1st    Lewis's – Deelayne Illustrious

Beautiful, cream with a black overlay, very attractive.  Loved her head, expression & really black pigment.  Kept her shape standing & on the move, at one with handler.  Now just needs to mature in body & coat, star in the making? I will watch this one with interest, so they say.

2nd   Roach's – Anjesics Gypsy Rose

Plenty to like about this one too, nice size, balance & good mouth, touch of winter nose, should rectify with better weather. Good to watch on the move keeps her shape, well handled & presented.  Another who just needs to finish in coat.

Limit Bitch 7 (2 ab)

1st  Bedfords – Sangchenla Pandora

Loved her size, compact & balanced, good neck & shoulder placement . This little lady won me over with her wonderful temperament & personality. Coat of good texture but needs a touch more “finish”. Moved around the ring with confidence & control, keeping her shape, totally in tune with handler.

2nd  Jones's -  Tarendes  See that Bear.

I also liked this one very much, again splitting hairs over 1st & 2nd place,  much the same remarks apply.  Guess these two change places all the time.

3rd   Scott's – Wolferlow Charlotte

Open Bitch 6 (2 ab)

1st   Cain & Lock's – Chic Choix Kutani Charisma

Wow!,, What a stunner, I looked up the definition of charisma, it said:  a special ability to attract, well she certainly attracted me!  So good to go over, lovely head , black pigment, good neck & shoulder placement, long rib & high set tail. Balanced outline, mature in body & a wealth of good quality coat.  She flowed around the ring totally at one with handler, didn't put a foot wrong, could not be denied BB & BIS.

2nd  Jones's  - Tarendes Soul Bear

Close up to 1, quality bitch also good to go over, balanced , mature body, wonderful coat in excellent condition, showed well, steady mover.

3rd  Waterhouse's – Chtaura She Will be Loved
