It is always a privilege to judge a Club show and there were some really lovely dogs to assess. I found variance in type and size, some exhibits were bordering on the square in outline and there were a few broad Peke like heads. As this is at variance with the Standard it was worrying. As in so many breeds fronts were often faulty with upright shoulders. There was also some real quality and I was delighted with my winners. Presentation was faultless

 

VETERAN DOG (2) l.Davidson-Jones' Diquest the Jones Boy at Peakajay 11 years old brindle with an excellent mouth and clean teeth. Very well put together. Dark eye with lovely expression, well set ears and well arched neck. Moved out well and enjoyed his day. 2. Holloway's Ch. Mashika Khyam lOyo r/sable. Correct all through and in full coat of correct texture. Sweet masculine head and good outline. Not the drive of 1 today but a worthy champion.

MINOR PUPPY DOG (7) 1. Lewis' Now and Forever Deelayne Eye catching sable puppy of good proportion and balance. Correct head with lovely dark oval eye, good mouth and ear set. Well arched neck, good front assembly. Moved well for such a baby. 

 

2. Lawson' Rishlyn Executive Decision. Silver sable. Sweet head and expression, lovely eye and pigmentation. Well made overall Though I would have liked a little more length to height ratio. S.Wilkes Miracle Moonshine at Monkspath.

PUPPY DOG (3U abs 1. Young's Avonboume Tit For Tat Quality sable/white masculine puppy. Well angulated fore and aft with a good level topline and well set tail. Loved his head and beautiful dark eye giving the true Tibetan expression. He has star quality , definitely one for the future. 2. Eldridges Saxonsprings Ashley for Zoffany Silver Sable of nice size and balance. Has that superior expression that only the Tibetan Breeds are capable of. Good head and dentition. Sturdy little dog, just preferred the front of 1.

 

JUNIOR DOG (1) 1. Lawsons Khalila The Outlaw Among Rishlyn G/S in superb coat of correct texture. Very typical for movement. Pleasing front assembly with tight elbows and good spring of rib. Straight front legs. Nice thick pads to his feet. A worthy winner though standing alone.

 

SPECIAL YEARLING DOG (4) 1 abs 1. Jones' Tarendes Principal Bear S/sable in lovely correct coat. Good head with nice dark eye giving sweet expression. Front well angulated and with good neat elbows and depth of brisket. Good free movement. 2. Quelch's Cossy's Captain Chaos at Ardquin G/s well proportioned and balanced throughout. Good head shape. Correct in coat. Just preferred front of 1. 3. Scarll's Timazinti La-Roche

 

GRADUATE DOG (2) la 1.Cossy's Captain Chaos at Ardquin POST GRADUATE DOG (4) 1. Langford's Zentarr Wordsworth at Quaytown S/sable very eye catching. Good head shape and balance. Neck arched nicely into a really good front and level topline. Well set on tail. A very pleasing outline and he moved with true Apso style. 2. Cain's Kutani Reckless Gold of lovely type and balance. Good bone and nicely masculine. Moved well but lacked front extension. 3. Reece & Webster's Kandy Kone Kontradiction

 

LIMIT DOG (6) 3 1. Davidson- Jones Peakajay High Finance Brindle of lovely type and balance. Well angulated front and rear with correct level topline and tailset. Nice spring of rib giving overall sturdy dog. Moved with real drive. Pushed hard for the top.RBD.

2. Waterhouse' Chtaura Dream Machine G/s Sweet head and expression with dark oval eye and good pigment, well set ears. Well made overall and moved freely. 3. Jones' Jejuna Hitchhiker.

 

OPEN DOG (6)2 1. Water-house' Ch. Chetaura Hit the Perfect Beat   Gold dog of lovely masculine balance and proportion. Super outline, head of pleasing shape with dark eye. Good arch of neck into well angulated front. Moved with lovely free stride.BD RBIS

2. McNally's Ch. Angadema Applause Good head and skull proportions, lovely oval dark eye, he has balance and style overall with really good front and rear assembly. Nice short loin and good tailset. Full of quality. 3. Reece's Vaderiands Vitality.

 

VETERAN BITCH (3) 1 1. Hill's Kelly Ann Marina B/w 11 years old she belied her age. Feminine head of good balance. Correct full mouth of clean teeth. Nice outline and in good coat. Well put together overall, moved out well for age, a credit to her owner. BV. 2. Holloway's Ch Deelayne Spark to a Flame 8yrs very typical r/sable. Well constructed of excellent type and a worthy champion, not quite the sparkle of 1 today and had to bow to an older lady.

MINOR PUPPY BITCH (5) 1 1. Langford's Quaytown Catwalk Connie Sable baby in mature coat for age, would not want her to grow on. Correct skull shape with lovely eye and expression. Good balance and coordination for age. Needs to tighten in front, good spring of rib and nice short couplings. 2. Howe's Hazgaye Fascination S/w parti Real baby but fall of personality. She is feminine all over with a pretty and correct head and dark oval eye. Her well arched neck flows into a well laid shoulder. Good body and well angulated back end. One for the future. 3-Burt's Cedarpoint Wishing on a Star

PUPPY BITCH (4) 2 1. Chamberlain's Avonboume Mandzari at Chobrang G/s/w Not just a glamour puss but really well put together with all the right things in the right place. Her balance and outline are excellent, lovely head and expression and she moves well and is so sound. Full sister to my puppy dog winner . BP. 2-Anderson's Zentarr Madonna G/s/w of different type to 1. Not quite the balance but moved and showed well

JUNIOR BITCH (3) 1 1. Waterhouse' Chtaura Beautiful Dreamer Very feminine gold with really charming head and expression. Dark eye, good earset and correct mouth with good dentition. Balanced and well angulated she moved out really well. 2. Ogden's Absosengke Weng-Cheng B/w in beautiful coat. Strongly made bitch with good balanced outline. Well angulated and moved with style. Could lose a little weight to advantage.

NOVICE BITCH((2) 1 1. Everitt-Rees' Wot Dreams Are Made Of. G/s A rather reluctant show girl who did not make the best of herself. Welt presented in coat of correct texture. A little short in foreface.

SPECIAL YEARLING BITCH ((8) 2 1. Torrance' Sinyul Brief Encounter Silver/grey in lovely coat of correct texture. Nice feminine head with dark oval eye and good ear set.. In lovely balance and with a super outline standing and moving.  One of the best front of the day.  Very mature for age.  2. Jones' Tarendes Scrumptious Bear S/s Another with a good front whose neck arched nicely into well laid shoulders. Good straight coat. Kept her topline well with good free movement. 3. Waterhouse' Chtaura Beautiful Dreamer. 

GRADUATE BITCH (6) 3 1. Sinyul Brief Encounter 2. Carters' Magrathea Returns The Wish to Vowchurch G/s Good balanced head with lovely expression. Really good mouth and clean correct teeth. Enough arch of neck into fair shoulder. Good topline and tailset. A real "jaunty" mover.

POST GRADUATE BITCH (6) 4 !. Jones' Tarendes Passion Bear S/s/White. So feminine yet filled the sturdy requirement well. Expressive dark eye, good pigment. Correct breadth of mouth. Lovely arched neck into shoulder and with good level topline. Good balance and proportion a really quality exhibit RBB 3. Everitt-Ress' Just Looking At A Star Glamorous lady with good balance and outline. Very Feminine, good straight front legs and a fair spring of rib. She did not quite have the drive of 1.

LIMIT BITCH (11)1 A really lovely class of quality bitches and a variance in type that did not make decisions easy. 1. Andersons Zentaur Mayfair Gold with superb pigment, lovely dark eye and good head proportion. Well balanced and with a pleasing outline both standing and moving. Good spring of rib and straight foreleg s. Hard straight coat with correct tailset. 2. Scarll's Haygaze Trinkets Folly at Timazinti Cream/parti Lovely typical head with best "drop dead" expression of the day. Good front and well arched neck she was balanced and well made which reflected in her good movement. 3-Waterhouse' Chtaura Miss Dynamite

 

OPEN BITCH (8) 1 Shand-Clarke" Deelayne Beyond The Pale at Shanclar. Brindle who really stood out in an excellent class. Lovely front with well laid shoulder and return of upper arm. Good straight forelegs and correct depth of brisket. Strong loin and good hind end. In lovely coat of hard texture. Slightly broad in skull but with lovely eye shape and expression. Correct mouth with clean teeth. BB & BIS.  2. Waterhouse' Chtaura Perfect Ten Cr/Sable who has class. Good balance and proportion with a sweet head and good neck. I am sure these two will change places many times. A really quality exhibit.
