The Lhasa Apso Association of Wales and South West held a well run and enjoyable show at Stroud where BIS was Ch/Port/Sp Ch Shiawandi Ga-Ga; Best Dog Chethang Grandville for Shanclar; and Best Puppy Deelayne Indulgence. So many dogs were in good condition and muscle tone and mouths generally were much more uniform.
Veteran Dog (3, 2a) 1st Reece’s Kandykone Konundrum, up to size masculine typy 10 year old, good for type, shape, coat and condition, pleasing outlook, good mouth, movement, happy soul, credit to his owner.
Minor Puppy Dog (5) 1st Trembath’s Zanamop Shooting Star, most promising very shapely masculine gold of comfortable size, in lovely body condition, pleasing head and mouth, well balanced, efficient mover;
2nd Watts-Catley and Smith’s Zanamop Tiger in the Tank, litter brother to 1, again a gold, flashy eye-catching pupy in mature coat, pleasing topline and movement, well bodied and muscled;
3rd Lewis’ Deelayne Brother Beyond.
Puppy Dog (3, 1a) 1st Waterhouse’s Chtaura Rock DJ the first of may type dogs from this kennel, 11 months g/br, impressed for shape and style, good coat maturing well, free able mover, pleasing outlook and front.
2nd O’Kane’s Kutani Firefighter, 11 months gold masculine heaad, pleasing body, coat and condition. Not quite as free moving as 1.
Junior Dog (4) 1st Hazelhurst’s Sinyul Latin Lover at Corrolls, maturish gr/w, pleasing for type, presence and style, well balanced typical outlook, stood well over front, sound coming and going, handy size, good chin.
2nd Holman’s Quaymore Mr Bojangles, younger looking gold, free movement, quality type, good profile.
3rd Watts-Catley and Smith’s Chethang Cory for Zanamop
Special Yearling Dog (5) 1st Wilkes’ Miracle Moonshine at Monkspath, w/g very typy, proud dignified style, free mover, most pleasing head with good eyes and finish to jaw, strong neck, good shoulders, firm well ribbed backed body.
2nd Holman’s Quaymore Mr Bojangles
3rd Peglar’s Cedarpoint Golden Exlipse.
Graduate Dog (3,2) 1st Deacon’s Zanamop Miskins Dragon for Andolyn, 16 months young adult, pleasing profile, sound mover, stood well over his front, will benefit from more time.
Postgraduate Dog (1) 1st Lock’s Askja Dance Yourself Dizzy, extremely attractive pale w/cr good for style type, size, strong masculine outlook, pleasing front and movement, extremely well presented.
Limit Dog (6,2) 1st Waterhouse’s Chtaura Dream Machine, pale gold, good outline, shape and style, moved fluidly and well, pleasing neck and shoulder, stood over front, well developed hindquarters.
2nd Lawson’s Rishlynn’s Entrapment, lovely mahogany of similar type, pleasing head, nect and topline, well conditioned body and coat, free mover.
3rd Cain’s Kutani Reckless
Open Dog (5,2) 1st Shand-Clarke and Shand Robinson’s Chethang Grandville for Shanclar, classical mature 6 years cr/w in grand form, appealed for finish, good balance of head, strong neck, good shoulder, stook well over front, pleasing size, good muscle tone, free and adequate mover. Best Dog
2nd Reece’s Vanderlands Vitality, gold, extremely attractive outline, masculine head, well made body, grand coat and condition Reserve Best Dog.
3rd Jones’ Jejuna Hitch Hiker
Veteran Bitch (2,1) 1st Carter’s Kandykone Klose Kall at Vowchurch, half sister to K Konundrum and resemblance is strong, enjoying her day and lunch, pleasing typical head, well made body.
Minor Puppy Bitch (6,2) 1st Lewis’ Deelayne Indulgence solid black, well off for a lot, shape, style, balance, body, expression, mouth and movement, totally captivated me Best Puppy.
Puppy Bitch (11,4) 1st Torrance’s Sinyul Lets Stay Together, very classy b/w of 9 months, well made head proportions and finish to jaw, stands well over front, well developed body, pleasing profile, well ribbed.
2nd Waterhouse’s Chtaura Disco Diva, feminine brindle, well balanced, good outline, preparation and showmanship, solid body, good shoulder.
3rd Ogden’s Absosengkye Ghabbi
Junior Bitch (7,4) 1st Lawson’s Swaybee Don’t Say a Word to Rishlyn, well developed gold, quite mature for age, pleasing head shape, lovely dentition, good shoulder and topline, flowing coat of good texture and length, strong hindquarters, well ribbed, free movement, Reserve Best Bitch.
2nd Young’s Avonbourne Bemused, b/w although older less mature than 1 but still with pleasing balance and make, lovely dark expressive eyes.

2nd Burt’s Cedarpoint Wishing On A Star lovely type, good balance, sound mover.
Post Graduate Bitch (8,2) 1st Chamberlain’s Avonbourne Mandzari at Chobrang, happy w/cr, good type, very sound efficient movement, good shoulder placement, well bodied and ribbed, will benefit from a little more time to enhance what is already there.
2nd McNally’s Angadema Abracadabra, gold of lovely proportions, proud and shapely, moves easily, well made body, grand pigment.
3rd Torrance’s Sinyul Brief Encounter.
Limit Bitch (8,3) 1st Everett-Ree’s Just Looking at a Star, gold, lovely profile, head and expression, movement, style and balance, good pigment, well covered body.
2nd Langford’s Britroys Caught in a Shower at Quaytown, parti in the most glorious condition, lovely for size, balance, coat texture, presentation, pleasing head, good neck.
3rd Anderson’s Zentarr Madonna.
Open Bitch (7,3) 1st Lewis’ Ch/Port/Sp Ch Shiawandi Ga-Ga, 6 years g/br, mature lady built on classic lines, lovely for type, size, shape and head properties including teeth, dark expressive eye, lovely topline, coat quality and texture Best Bitch, Best in Show.
2nd Torance’s Sinyul All You Need is Love, Gr/w of the most old fashioned type, pleasing heaad and chin, front over which she stood well, well developed body, good movement although did not help herself.
3rd Waterhouse’s Ch Chtaura A Perfect Ten.
